Dr. D's approach to STEAM education is unique and beneficial for homeschoolers because of her diverse background. As a psychologist working with kids and their families, a college and graduate-level instructor in statistics and research, and a homeschool mom to four children (including one with different cognitive needs), she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her classes. Her unique training, doctoral education, experiences, and passion for learning ensure that she is sensitive and responsive to the different ways children learn.

Dr. D is a psychologist, statistician, and social scientist. She was a federal law enforcement officer for ten years and is a competitive shooter. She's a published author. She's a small business owner. She formerly performed as a jazz musician on the Las Vegas strip. She was the keynote speaker at Paranormal Con. She's a mom to four homeschooled children.
