Reality Remix: Propaganda for Teens and Tweens

What is real? We are boarded with messages every day - from advertisements to political slogans to research articles. How can we tell what is real and how those messages shape our thoughts, our behaviors, and our very reality? Help your learner become a good consumer of information, learn how to spot when information is being used to manipulate them, and even how to use these tactics to become more persuasive speakers! It will be a fun and thought-provoking class, focusing on historical propaganda (rather than current events), and culminating in the creation of the class's own propaganda campaign. Just beware of your kids when you pick them up, because they may use these tactics on you!
