We went to the afterschool kids connection at the Green Valley Ranch Library up on Tower near the Walmart. It happens every Friday from 3:30 to 4:30 and they close at 5:00. There were so many kids there that they closed the doors and said...
the event was full!
They had an Xbox 360 and Nintendo switches. Ely said she had a terrible time because she doesn’t like video games. But Beni was absolutely thrilled and has been talking to me about blue shells in Mario Kart ever since 😂
It’s a little library and there were some rough teenagers - they were actually harassing the librarian, but good on her for standing her ground. The “Teen Space” was full of grownups using their electronics.
I think it will be useful to my family in case there are any special one off events or to have Denver library system books sent there so I can just run in and pick up my holds licketysplit 👍
They do have a very cool airplane cockpit in the middle of the library for kids to clamber in! ✈️
