We went to the homeschool day at the Aurora History Museum today. It was Black History of Aurora, and we learned about...
Dearfield, a black community near Greeley. There was a lot of talking and a brief craft at the end. The kids did not enjoy it because of all the talking and use of slides 😞 But John talked to the proctor afterward, and she says she’s still learning how to talk to kids. Next month is Amish Crafts, so hopefully less talking 😂 I want to give out another chance.
While we were there, we checked out the paleontology room that has a bunch of dinosaur bones that were discovered in Aurora! Beni loved it. Worth the trip right there 😂
